Lots of plays here (sigh, choke, barf!): Taming of the Shrew, Hamlet, The Merchant of Venice. we are also going to spend a day at Warwick Castle. then we move on to Liverpool. Next we go to Chester, a little Medieval town. and last, we are going on a day tour to see Stonehenge, Lacock, Avebury Stone Circles and Castle Combe. we finish with another play, (yay...NOT!). so that is what you can look forward to seeing in my pictures when i get back. i hope everyone is doing well. i miss you so much!

Thames River Festival
this man has no head!!
picasso
Today was Saturday. I went to the Thames River Festival. I began by crossing the Tower Bridge, then walked along the Thames from booth to booth, watching musicians and taking pictures until I reached the London Bridge. Miles of amazing things. It felt like home. I always go to these silly things at home.
These guys were so good. It was delightful to watch the dancing and hear the bells jingle as they moved all together.
Canterbury Part 3
This is the famous Cathedral of Canterbury where in 1170 Saint Thomas a Becket was murdered by the kings knightly assasins. I am tiny in the bottom right hand corner waving.
Here I am again in front of the cathedral.
Inside the Nave of the cathdral. Supposedly, next to Notre Dame, this is the most amazing church in Europe.
The Nave, taken from the entrance area.
Below: the cloister of Canterbury Cathedral.
Below: this was just something we saw while touring the town. Completely lovely.
